The "Water Houses" is a tool to bring citizens closer to drinking water from our waterworks: GOOD, SAFE and CONTROLLED by more than 1,000 analyses per day.
It’s a modern choice that stems from popular folklore. Indeed, the public fountain in history has accompanied the evolution not only of architecture but also of culture, history and technology. Over the years, it has been the central and qualifying point of cities. At the same time it has served an eminently practical function: with the modern era and industrialization, the relationship between communities and fountains tended to change, and their significance and use was downsized, thanks in part to the spread of aqueduct networks.
Therefore, the WATER HOUSES project aims to give them new life. The old village drinking fountains are transformed by ITALBEDIS into technologically advanced facilities whose heart is composed of systems capable of delivering microfiltered water in the three options: chilled fishbone, chilled sparkling and room temperature water.
